Located
along one of the main migratory routes between Eurasia
and Africa, in addition to the endemic species, Cyprus
boasts an unusually rich bird-life. Recent studies put
the number of species recorded on the island at about
365.
With the exception of the “summer”
months of May to late August, we organise a variety
of bird-watching programmes which should provide interesting
spottings such as the Cyprus Warbler, the Cyprus Bied
Wheatear, the Black Francolin, Eleonora’s Falcon, the
Greater Flamingo and many more.
